Beautiful Creatures Review & Giveaways!

I had the opportunity to review a great Children’s CD from South Africa. Beautiful Creatures was formed in South Africa in November 2004 by Alan Glass, Ed Jordan and Paul Choritz who felt there was a need for “Parent Friendly” children’s music. They produce Children’s music, books and games. The CD I am reviewing is the first one in the Beautiful Creatures series. There are 10 songs, about animals – Imvubu the Happiest Hippo, Lucas the lazy Lion, Lorenzo the luckiest Lizard just to name a few. All with great tunes and funny lyrics to get your kids dancing and singing. The cds are uniquely South African with great educational lyrics, also sophisticated for both parent and child to enjoy together.

I put the cd on while baking with the kids, right away they both got into the beat and started dancing. I would have to say one of my favorites is the African lullaby. Very soft music great for relaxing or putting baby to bed. I love that it is educational and fun at the same time. The music tells about the animals characteristics so children can learn all about Lions, Warthogs, Hippos, Elephants, Lizzards and more.
This cd is really geared for all ages. The sounds are not too loud for baby, or toddler but older children and parents can enjoy the music also. I recommend you to check out Beautiful Creatures!
